While global Gold Prices have fallen for the second day in a row, local prices have increased once more.
On Friday, gold prices in the international market dropped by $12 per ounce, bringing the global price to $2,492 per ounce.

In contrast, the price of 24-carat gold in Pakistan rose by Rs. 200 per tola, reaching Rs. 262,000, and the price for 10 grams increased by Rs. 172 to Rs. 224,623.
Despite the rise in gold prices, silver prices have remained stable, with one tola priced at Rs. 2,950 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,529.14.
Yesterday also saw a global decrease in gold prices by $8 per ounce, while local prices increased by Rs. 800 per tola and Rs. 686 per 10 grams.
