On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan significantly dropped and ended up at Rs. 236,000 a tola.
The price of gold (24 carats) decreased by Rs. 1,800 per tola to Rs. 236,000, while the price of 10 grammes decreased by Rs. 1,543 to close at Rs. 202,332, according to statistics provided by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The price of gold has dropped twice this week, the most recent instance being at the moment. The price of a tola increased by Rs. 2,000 at the beginning of the week before falling by Rs. 100 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the price spiked once again and showed a rise of Rs. 600 per tola.
