Federal Tobacco Control Cell Under Fire for Using Indian Models in Anti-Smoking Campaign

It has been revealed that images of Indian models were used in the official social media awareness campaign of the Tobacco Control Cell.

Awareness posters issued from official social media accounts also featured the Indian cricket team’s uniform.

It was also discovered that images of an Indian family dressed in traditional Indian clothing were used.

There are questions regarding the influence of Indian-origin representatives of international NGOs within the Tobacco Control Cell.

The official Facebook account of the Tobacco Control Cell has only 12 followers.
