YouTube sensation Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has publicly responded to recent workplace misconduct allegations by hiring the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP to conduct a thorough investigation into his company, MrBeast LLC. The inquiry, which began on July 31, 2024, was initiated after employee Ava Kris Tyson was accused of inappropriate conversations with underage fans.
After an extensive three-month review of over 4.5 million documents, including texts, emails, and messages from various platforms, the law firm concluded on November 1 that MrBeast LLC bore no direct responsibility for any wrongdoing towards minors. However, the investigation did uncover several isolated incidents of workplace harassment and misconduct.

In response, Donaldson announced significant organizational changes, which include terminating an undisclosed number of employees and appointing new executives, including a CEO, CPO, CFO, and General Counsel to enhance oversight of operations and policies. To foster a better work environment, Quinn Emanuel’s report emphasized the need for mandatory corporate training, along with targeted training for certain employees.
Additionally, the investigation found that fellow YouTuber Dawson French, also known as dogpack404, was instructed to refrain from publicly discussing the allegations against MrBeast LLC during the investigation to preserve its integrity. Notably, the report did not address separate allegations regarding Lunchly, one of MrBeast’s ventures, where customers reported finding mold in their food.
These developments come amidst growing scrutiny of MrBeast’s operations, as he strives to tackle internal issues while protecting his public image. This year has been particularly challenging for Donaldson, facing multiple allegations that have heightened the pressure on his brand.
