Ridhi Dogra, co-actor in the upcoming film Abir Gulaal, shared her thoughts on working with Fawad Khan following the lifting of the ban on Pakistani actors in Bollywood. During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ridhi revealed that she ensured all legal checks were in place before signing the project.
“I don’t think there’s a division in art,” she said, emphasizing that audiences watch films for the characters, not for the nationality of the actors. She added that her main concern was confirming whether she was legally allowed to work with actors from Pakistan, and with the government’s permission, she felt free to take on the role.

Fawad’s last Bollywood appearance was in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), where he played a secondary love interest in the romantic drama.
