This decision follows a court ruling calling for a robust strategy to prevent water misuse amid concerns about water scarcity.

The court stressed the urgent need to conserve water resources. The initiative comes in response to the increasing misuse of water for non-essential activities, particularly in urban areas.

Given the rising demand for water and shortages in several regions, WASA is taking steps to promote efficient water use and raise awareness about the importance of water conservation in the face of growing water challenges.
