A day after a significant drop, gold prices in Pakistan experienced another sharp decline on Tuesday, mirroring trends in the global market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola plummeted by Rs4,100, settling at Rs274,300.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,515, bringing it down to Rs235,168.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a substantial decrease of $41, reaching $2,631 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also faced a notable reduction of Rs50 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs3,400.
