Fatal Accident in Karachi: Water Tanker Runs Over Two Motorcyclists

Two motorcyclists lost their lives, and one was injured in a traffic collision on Shaheed-e-Millat Road in Karachi on Friday morning. The accident occurred when a water tanker collided with the motorcycles.

As reported by Express News, the tanker driver fled the scene after the crash. The impact killed two motorcyclists instantly, while the third rider was injured and later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

In protest, local residents set the water tanker on fire. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

In an unrelated event on Thursday, a water tanker ran over and killed two people riding a motorcycle near Naval Colony on Baldia Hub River Road. The tanker driver also fled the scene after the accident.

Rescue workers arrived and transferred the bodies to Civil Hospital for legal procedures. The victims were identified as 44-year-old Jamil and 30-year-old Muhammad Akbar.

Both incidents have led local authorities to initiate investigations to determine the causes and take necessary action.
