21 Pakistanis Rescued in Morocco Boat Tragedy

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has confirmed that 21 Pakistani nationals survived a boat accident near Morocco’s Dakhla town. The tragedy involved a migrant vessel carrying 86 people, including 66 Pakistanis, en route to Spain.

Moroccan authorities rescued 36 individuals, while rights group Walking Borders reported 44 Pakistani casualties among the presumed dead.

The Pakistani embassy in Rabat provided essential aid to survivors and is coordinating with local authorities for further assistance. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for stricter anti-human trafficking measures, including the implementation of an Integrated Border Management System.
