A key addition to this year’s exercise is the introduction of the “Peace Dialogue” initiative, providing a platform for naval and coast guard leaders from around the world to discuss pressing maritime issues. Along with warships and aircraft, special operations forces and bomb disposal units are actively participating in the exercise.

‘Aman 2025’ will run from February 7 to 11, and is divided into two phases. The Harbour Phase, taking place until February 9, features seminars, discussions, operational demonstrations, cultural events, and sporting activities. The Sea Phase, scheduled for February 10 and 11, will include practical drills like anti-piracy, anti-terrorism exercises, search and rescue operations, live firing drills, and an international fleet review.

First held in 2007, the ‘Aman’ series is a biennial event designed to promote maritime stability and strengthen collaborative efforts. The introduction of the Peace Dialogue further underscores its commitment to addressing global maritime security challenges.
