Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has written a second open letter to Army Chief General Asim Munir, following up on his earlier message addressing the widening gap between the military and the public. The letter, posted on Khan’s official Twitter account, criticizes the response to his initial letter, calling it irresponsible and dismissive.
Khan, the leader of Pakistan’s largest political party, emphasized his lifelong dedication to the country, expressing concern over the growing mistrust between the public and the military. He claimed that most Pakistanis would support the six points he raised in his previous letter.

The former premier also recounted a series of troubling personal experiences, including alleged mistreatment during his imprisonment. He mentioned being held in a dark cell for 20 days, deprived of basic necessities, and being denied communication with his children and visitors despite court orders.
Khan further accused the government of using pressure tactics to impose the 26th Constitutional Amendment, alleging that it aimed to capture the judicial system and influence court rulings in his cases. He expressed concerns about the pressure placed on judges, revealing that one judge was even hospitalized due to stress.
