WhatsApp

WhatsApp has launched a new feature aimed at improving the calling experience by simplifying voice and video calls. The update, currently available to select beta testers on the Google Play Store, replaces the separate call buttons with a single button in chat windows.

In one-on-one conversations, tapping the button reveals a menu allowing users to choose between voice and video calls. Additionally, group calls are now more flexible, letting users select specific members instead of calling the entire group. Another key addition is the ability to create and share call links directly from the call menu, making it easier to invite others.

These updates align with WhatsApp’s goal of enhancing communication by making the app more user-friendly. Although still in testing, the new features are expected to roll out widely soon.
