Jacobabad Armed Dacoits Target Female Teachers in School Van Amid ‘Daku Raaj’

Armed Dacoits, infamously known as ‘Sindh Dakus,’ continue to instill fear among citizens, with a recent kidnapping attempt on several female teachers highlighting the deteriorating law and order situation in the southeastern region of the country.

A shocking video circulating online captures the moment a gang of armed dacoits intercepted a school van on its way to pick up students. The assailants forcefully halted the vehicle and attempted to abduct the female teachers inside.

In the distressing footage, the terrified teachers can be heard reciting Ayatul Kursi as the armed criminals encircled the van. At the time of the attack, there were a total of nine passengers inside, including the teachers. As local residents rushed to their aid, the bandits fired warning shots into the air before making a swift escape.

Law enforcement has registered a case against those involved, and an investigation is currently underway.

This alarming incident comes just days after another abduction in the region. On March 6, a group of armed dacoits kidnapped three employees of Sui Gas from the B-Section Thull police station area near Nasir Shaikh, Jacobabad.

Authorities are increasingly concerned about the surge in violent crimes, particularly the growing trend of kidnappings for ransom in Jacobabad and its surrounding areas.
