Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has criticized Netflix India, calling its leadership “dishonest and morally corrupt” over its reluctance to back bold content.

In an Instagram post, Kashyap praised the British mini-series Adolescence but accused Netflix India of lacking vision. He claimed they would never approve such a show and slammed CEO Ted Sarandos and Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria for hypocrisy.
Kashyap also cited the troubled production of Saare Jahan Se Achcha as proof of Netflix India’s flawed decision-making.
