In a significant development, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif is also part of the delegation traveling to Belarus.
A Foreign Office spokesperson highlighted that the visit reflects Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing its longstanding relationship with Belarus. The spokesperson added that several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, covering various areas of collaboration.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will engage in discussions with President Lukashenko to assess progress in key areas of mutual interest. This visit builds on the diplomatic momentum established by President Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan in November 2024 and the 8th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission held in February 2025.
Additionally, earlier this month, a ministerial delegation from Pakistan visited Belarus, laying a solid groundwork for productive outcomes during this trip.
