Over 1,000 Afghan nationals, who were detained from various locations in Rawalpindi, have been deported back to Afghanistan, confirmed police sources. The deportations took place over the past week through the Torkham border.
Before being deported, all individuals were held in a camp where their documents were processed and all necessary legal procedures were completed.

Authorities continue their operations against undocumented Afghan nationals across different areas, with police teams actively pursuing the crackdown.
Furthermore, families with Afghan registration cards are being temporarily moved to camps for verification and background checks during the operation.
