Light tremors were experienced in Quetta and nearby regions on Monday afternoon.
As per details from the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 3.0 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 12 kilometers beneath the surface.

The brief tremors, lasting just a few seconds, were recorded around noon, with the epicenter situated about 90 kilometers to the west of Quetta, close to the border region.
Although the quake triggered momentary fear among residents, no injuries or structural damage have been reported so far.
Officials from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) have confirmed that the situation is stable. “There’s no immediate danger, and our response teams are fully prepared,” said a PDMA representative.
