In a separate case, a teenage boy died in a mysterious shooting incident last month in the Ayub Goth area of the SITE Super Highway Industrial Zone. Chhipa volunteers transported the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The boy, identified as 12-year-old Muhammad Nawaz, was reportedly alone at home while his parents were out shopping for Eid. Preliminary investigations indicated that the fatal shot was fired from a licensed pistol belonging to his father, which accidentally discharged while Nawaz was making a video. The bullet struck him in the head, and he died instantly.
Nawaz’s uncle, speaking to the media, confirmed that the weapon involved was licensed and explained that the family had been alerted to the incident by Nawaz’s grandmother. When they arrived, they found the boy’s body. A relative also suggested that Nawaz might have been filming a TikTok video when the incident occurred. Additionally, it was revealed that Nawaz’s father had been unemployed for a while.
