New Zealand cricketing icon Kane Williamson has officially linked up with the Karachi Kings in Lahore as they gear up for a pivotal HBL PSL 2025 showdown against the Quetta Gladiators.
Williamson arrived in Lahore and checked into the team hotel, joining the squad just as the tournament enters a crucial stage. Although he was selected in the supplementary category during the 2025 PSL Draft, this will be his first involvement with the team this season.

The experienced top-order batter had been occupied with his role in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he contributed as a commentator and analyst during marquee games. His addition to the squad comes at a vital time, expected to bolster the Karachi Kings’ middle order and provide a steadying influence with his vast experience and calm demeanor.
Karachi Kings have experienced a mixed start to the season, securing three wins and suffering two defeats in their first five matches. The team will resume training with a practice session scheduled for 6 p.m. today at the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground.
The Kings are eager to build momentum and will look to secure a win over Quetta Gladiators in their upcoming fixture on April 25 in Lahore.
