Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a sharp rebound on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, following a significant decline in recent days. The price of gold per tola surged by Rs3,700, reaching Rs344,200, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs3,173 to settle at Rs295,096.
This price increase was uniform across major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Hyderabad, and Faisalabad, where gold rates per tola and per 10 grams stood at Rs344,200 and Rs295,096 respectively.

On the international front, gold prices rose by $37 per ounce, reaching $3,258. Analysts believe the surge is due to renewed investor confidence amid global economic uncertainty and shifting market dynamics.
Experts anticipate that the ongoing volatility in global currencies and persistent geopolitical tensions will likely support an upward trend in gold prices in the near future.
As for 22K gold in Pakistan, the rate per tola is currently Rs318,083, while the price per 10 grams stands at Rs272,708.
