Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz has clinched the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for April 2025 after a standout all-round performance in the Test series against Zimbabwe. This marks the 27-year-old’s first time receiving the monthly honour, making him only the third Bangladeshi player to do so.
Mehidy impressed with 116 runs and 15 wickets in the two-match series. His century and five-wicket haul in the second Test at Chattogram led Bangladesh to a resounding win, earning him both Player of the Series and a career-best No. 2 ranking among ICC Test all-rounders.

In the women’s category, Scotland’s captain Kathryn Bryce was named Player of the Month for her stellar showing during the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier in Pakistan. Despite her team not qualifying, Bryce’s 293 runs and six wickets earned her widespread recognition and the Player of the Series title.
Both cricketers thanked fans, teammates, and the ICC for the recognition, vowing to continue striving for excellence on the field.
