Gold Price Drops by Rs. 6,700 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices experienced a significant decline today in both global and domestic markets, marking one of the largest single-day falls in recent weeks.

Latest data reveals that gold prices in the international bullion market dropped by $67 per ounce, lowering the rate to $3,168 per ounce. This sharp decrease immediately impacted the Pakistani market.

Consequently, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan fell by Rs. 6,700, reaching Rs. 335,200 per tola. The price for 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs. 5,745, now valued at Rs. 287,379.

Silver prices followed suit, with the cost per tola decreasing by Rs. 105 to Rs. 3,377.

The decline in prices is linked to evolving trends in the global bullion market, as investors respond to economic shifts and potential interest rate changes in major economies.
