As CTD forces closed in on the suspects, they were met with intense gunfire. During the firefight, three militants were killed—reportedly by crossfire from their own comrades—while six others managed to escape.
Authorities seized rifles, three hand grenades, ammunition, and explosive materials at the scene. A search operation is ongoing to capture the militants who fled, with checkpoints set up by CTD teams around Rahmani Khel Mor.
Officials confirmed that the terrorist group had finalized coordinated plans to attack multiple police outposts.
