Speaking to SAMAA TV, Siddiqui remarked, “PTI has faced repeated rejection from the establishment, so if they’re not receiving any response, what do they expect us to do?” He also highlighted the Pakistan Army’s stance, noting that the military does not participate in political negotiations and has clearly communicated that this is outside its mandate.

Regarding PTI leader Imran Khan’s interest in direct talks with the establishment, Siddiqui said PML-N would not oppose such efforts. “If PTI opens its doors to talks with the establishment, we have no objection,” he added. Yet, he criticized PTI’s inconsistent approach, questioning how long Khan has been seeking such meetings and why they continue if they reject deals or compromises.

Siddiqui described PTI’s current political situation as chaotic and lacking leadership, calling it “a defeated force without a clear plan.” He stressed that any political solution requires a united approach involving all political parties. “Historically, political resolutions came through collective efforts,” he said.

He advised PTI to develop a coherent political strategy and present a clear agenda before formally approaching the government for talks.
