Gold Prices Surge by Rs4,000 Per Tola in Pakistan Amid Global Market Rise

Gold prices witnessed a significant surge of Rs4,000 per tola on Friday, reaching Rs356,900 in the domestic market due to a rise in international gold rates.

As per the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs3,430, closing at Rs305,984. The sharp increase in local prices was influenced by a $30 hike in global gold prices, which reached $3,375 per ounce. In Pakistan, gold rates usually include a $20 premium over international prices to account for local market factors.
