A bold new series on Fatima Jinnah is aiming to rewrite the rules of Pakistani television with its massive scale and raw authenticity. Shot across 92 real locations without a single CGI frame, the upcoming show has already sparked excitement for its cinematic approach to history.
Director Danyal K. Afzal, the brain behind the project, says the team focused on truth over timelines. “We didn’t want museum-like sets. We wanted something that felt alive,” he said. From studying forgotten architecture to decoding fabric patterns of the past, the crew went deep into historical research to ensure every detail feels real.

The story spans six volumes across three seasons and promises to introduce a version of Fatima Jinnah rarely discussed. Originally attached to Sajal Ali, the lead role will now be played by Sundas Shaheen-Farhan. Afzal believes this change brings fresh energy and mystery to the screen.
With more than 58 characters and a cast-and-crew of passionate newcomers, the project aims to deliver an emotional and visual punch. From refusing CGI to ditching traditional drama shots, the series is determined to break old molds and make history more relatable—and unforgettable—for today’s audience.
