Adnan Siddiqui, following Rohail Hyatt, makes a request for singer Asad Abbas’s treatment.

Asad Abbas, a Pakistani musician, is fighting for his life and has resorted to his peers, fans, and the government for help with a kidney transplant. The Coke Studio singer asked his fans to understand his plight and return the same love, if not more, that he offered to the country and its people.

“The man who used to travel the world now begs for his life.” I felt like a hero. I lived like one until my kidneys failed and I had to sell everything. Four times a week, I have dialysis. Please help me receive a kidney transplant,” Abbas asked in a statement that quickly went viral on social media.

Adnan Siddiqui, a director and actor, endorsed the Mahi Gal singer’s unfortunate health journey in an Instagram video. “With his beautiful voice and soulful performances, Asad has graced our lives and captured our hearts.” “Unfortunately, he is today waging a personal battle that has left him in a state of extreme financial distress behind the curtain of his immense talent,” he wrote.

Siddiqui asked fans and the government to band together to help an artist overcome financial difficulties. “He is currently dealing with a critical kidney issue that has not only harmed his health but has also resulted in significant financial burdens.”In times like this, we as a community must band together and show our support for someone who has brought us so much joy via his music. As artists, it is our job to support one another and assist them in times of need.”

He also asked people to pay whatever they could so that he could focus on his rehabilitation and return to “creating beautiful music.”

Imran Ashraf, who starred in Raqs-e-Bismil, a show whose OST made Abbas famous, also took to Instagram to support him. He added bank account information to his bio and stated, “Please watch video until the end and help him.” Every day, I would listen to him. He is currently in a state of crisis. In the name of God, assist him as much as you can. I’d like to see him perform again.”

Earlier this year, acclaimed composer and music producer Rohail Hyatt issued an appeal on Abbas’ behalf, who is still in desperate need of financial aid due to his illness. Because to double renal failure, the performer, who appeared on Coke Studio Season 6 (CS6), is receiving dialysis “three to four times a week and 13 to 14 times a month.”

Hyatt took to Facebook to inform friends and admirers of Abbas’s situation, writing, “The very talented folk singer Asad Abbas, who also appeared in season 6 of Coke Studio, is in desperate need of our support.” To anyone who wants to assist him. He is in our thoughts and prayers. “Thank you very much.”

“I am in need of financial assistance,” he added, “and I would urge the government to provide it to me.” I don’t have a car and I have a family to support. I’ve had this condition for seven years and both of my kidneys have failed. Previously, they attempted but failed to do a kidney transplant. I also sang for Mekaal Hasan Band, received a Lux Style Award, a Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, and served my country as an artist for many years.” Abbas is currently attempting to raise Rs 50 million for his medical treatment in the United States.
