From January to June 2025, over 336,999 Pakistanis moved abroad in search of employment, according to the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE). This rising trend shows increasing opportunities for both skilled and unskilled Pakistani workers overseas.
Since 1971, more than 10 million Pakistanis moving abroad have found jobs through BEOE’s registration and support system. Overseas employment is a key source of foreign exchange and helps reduce unemployment within the country.
Currently, 116,300 foreign jobs are available through the Bureau, which continues to play a vital role in managing and regulating the emigration process for Pakistanis moving abroad.
