The Hyderabad weather is expected to change significantly in the coming days as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a fresh warning. Residents of Telangana, including Hyderabad, may experience heavy monsoon rains and thunderstorms over the next week.
According to IMD Hyderabad, a yellow alert has been issued for various districts on July 15, 17, and 18. However, the heavy rain warning specifically applies to July 17 and 18. No weather warning has been issued for July 16, but rainfall is still likely in some parts of the state.
In the latest Hyderabad weather forecast, the city is expected to receive rainfall on July 15, 17, and 18. While no official warning is issued for Hyderabad itself, thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall are expected to impact the area during this period.
Famous weather enthusiast T. Balaji, known for his reliable forecasts, predicted intense thunderstorms between July 17 and 22 across Telangana. He also mentioned that Hyderabad weather will likely follow the same pattern, with stormy conditions and rainfall throughout the week.
From July 23 to 28, widespread heavy rains are forecast for northern, eastern, and central Telangana. Hyderabad is also expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall during this time.
Apart from rain, sustained surface winds are expected to affect the region until July 18. This may result in lower daytime temperatures across Telangana. The Telangana Development Planning Society reported that the maximum temperature has already dropped to 30°C in Vikarabad. In Hyderabad, Shaikpet recorded a maximum temperature of 32.7°C.
With continued rain and cloud cover, temperatures are likely to decline even further. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest Hyderabad weather alerts and take precautions during thunderstorms.
