ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have pledged to strengthen their strategic partnership, aiming to elevate bilateral relations across multiple areas. The announcement came during high-level talks between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu.
Both leaders emphasized the deep-rooted and time-tested ties between the two countries. They highlighted opportunities to expand cooperation in trade, economy, education, culture, and regional connectivity. DPM Ishaq Dar said Pakistan supports peace, stability, and development in the region, especially in Central Asia.

βPakistan is committed to a strong partnership with Kazakhstan, based on mutual respect, trust, and goodwill,β he said. DPM Dar also welcomed the upcoming visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in November, noting that delegation-level talks are focused on finalizing the visitβs detailed agenda.
Kazakhstanβs Deputy Prime Minister Murat Nurtleu, on his first official two-day visit to Pakistan, expressed his countryβs readiness to enhance engagement and bring both nations closer. βOur partnership has very strong roots and significant potential for growth,β he said.
During his visit, Nurtleu held discussions with government officials and business leaders to explore areas of mutual interest. He expressed hope that President Tokayevβs forthcoming visit will create new dynamics and provide fresh momentum to Pakistan-Kazakhstan bilateral relations.
The talks reflect both nationsβ shared vision for regional stability, economic cooperation, and stronger diplomatic ties. By focusing on mutual interests, Islamabad and Nur-Sultan aim to deepen trust and foster a long-term strategic partnership.
