'Fake' Football Team From Sialkot Makes it to Japan, Gets Deported with Warning

A shocking case has emerged in which a fake football team from Sialkot attempted to travel to Japan. However, the entire group was deported after Japanese authorities discovered their documents were fake.

According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the group consisted of 22 people who traveled under the guise of a football team. They managed to board a flight from Sialkot Airport but were caught upon arrival in Japan.

The FIA confirmed that the mastermind behind the scheme was Malik Waqas. He allegedly formed a fake football club called Golden Football Trial to carry out the plan. Investigators said he trained the members to act like players to avoid suspicion.

Reports revealed that Malik Waqas collected nearly Rs4 million from each member of the fake football team. The total amount ran into millions, making it a major case of fraud and human smuggling.

Authorities have arrested the main suspect, and a case has been registered at the FIA Gujranwala police station. The investigation is still ongoing to identify others involved in the network.

The FIA highlighted that this was not the first attempt by criminals to misuse sports for illegal migration. Officials stressed the need for stricter checks at airports to prevent such incidents in the future.

The fake football team incident has sparked concern about how sports identities are being misused for illegal travel. It also highlights the risks faced by individuals who pay large sums of money to traffickers in hopes of reaching foreign countries.

Authorities assured that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in exploiting the name of football for illegal purposes.
