RAWALPINDI – Pakistan’s security forces killed five Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Monday.
According to ISPR, the operation was carried out on the night between September 14 and 15, 2025, following reports about the presence of militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan.
During the exchange of heavy fire, five Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized. Security officials recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site. The militants were said to be involved in multiple terror attacks in the region.
The military spokesperson added that a sanitization operation is underway to ensure no remaining threats in the area. Security forces reiterated their determination to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan and vowed to bring all perpetrators to justice.
This latest success follows two major operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security forces eliminated 31 militants belonging to another India-backed group, Fitnah-ul-Khawarij.
In Lakki Marwat, 14 terrorists were killed after troops raided a hideout based on intelligence inputs. A separate operation in Bannu resulted in the deaths of 17 more militants. Both incidents highlight the continued efforts of Pakistan’s forces to dismantle terrorist networks operating within its borders.
ISPR stressed that such operations will continue until the country is completely free of Indian-sponsored terrorists. It also assured the public of the military’s firm resolve in defending Pakistan against all forms of terrorism.
The recent operations underline Pakistan’s ongoing struggle against foreign-backed militancy and reaffirm the armed forces’ commitment to ensuring peace and stability across the nation.
