The United States remains the top destination of Pakistani exports during the first two months of the 2025-26 financial year, followed by the United Kingdom and China.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), total exports to the US during July-August 2025-26 reached $1,111.891 million, up from $950.128 million in the same period last year. This shows an increase of 17.02 percent. The UK was the second-largest export market, with Pakistan exporting goods worth $385.111 million, up from $366.370 million, marking a 5.11 percent increase.
China was the third top destination of Pakistani exports, with products valued at $354.470 million during the same period, compared to $323.435 million last year. Other key export markets included Germany, where exports rose to $305.660 million from $287.169 million, and Spain, which received $242.159 million worth of goods, up from $231.945 million.
However, exports to some countries saw a decline. The United Arab Emirates imported goods worth $320.782 million, down from $400.977 million last year. Similarly, exports to Afghanistan decreased to $109.319 million from $146.655 million, and exports to Turkiye fell sharply to $28.542 million from $64.812 million.
Other notable markets included Italy, with exports rising to $215.521 million from $186.984 million, France at $88.548 million against $82.680 million, and Belgium at $86.513 million against $100.402 million last year. Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia were recorded at $106.705 million, compared to $114.189 million previously.
Trade analysts note that the US, UK, and China remain the most significant destinations of Pakistani exports, reflecting strong demand for textiles, rice, and other key products. Monitoring these export trends helps Pakistan focus on high-potential markets and diversify trade opportunities.
