The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled the lineup for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, scheduled to take place in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The 17-member squad includes Shamim Hossain, who has previously participated in T20 internationals for Bangladesh, as well as 22-year-old left-handed opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim, both of whom are yet to make their ODI debuts.

Notably, Bangladesh is set to commence their Asia Cup journey on August 31 against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Following that, the Shakib Al Hasan-led team will face Afghanistan on September 3 at the renowned Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
