Dubai International Chamber Opens Karachi Office to Boost Trade and Investment

The Dubai International Chamber has opened a new office in Karachi to help increase trade and investment between Pakistan and Dubai. The announcement was made on Tuesday after an inauguration ceremony attended by senior officials and business leaders.

This expansion is part of the Dubai Global Initiative, which plans to establish 50 international offices by 2030. The goal is to support cross-border business activity and strengthen Dubai’s position as a major global gateway for trade. The move comes at a time when Pakistani investors are showing strong interest in Dubai, while Dubai-based companies are also exploring business opportunities in Pakistan’s growing markets.

The new office was inaugurated in Karachi by UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi. Members of Pakistan’s business community also joined the event.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the opening of the Karachi office reflects a clear commitment to improving economic ties between the two sides. He noted that the chamber aims to build a wider cooperation network between business communities in both countries.

He said the chamber will work to create new channels for trade and investment. Lootah added that the new office will play an important role in supporting business expansion plans.

The Karachi office will assist Pakistani companies that want to enter the Dubai market. It will provide market information, regulatory guidance, and connections with potential investors and partners. Officials said the office will also help Dubai-based companies looking to explore Pakistan’s industrial and consumer sectors. This support includes sector briefings, partner sourcing, and investment facilitation.
