Gold Prices Rebound in Pakistan with Rs1,800 Per Tola Gain

KARACHI – After five consecutive days of decline, gold prices in Pakistan have surged, showing a significant rebound in the local market.

The price of gold increased by Rs1,800 per tola, reaching Rs433,662 per tola. In terms of 10 grams, gold prices rose by Rs1,543, bringing the rate to Rs371,795. This upward trend provides relief to investors following recent declines.

Internationally, gold also gained value, with global rates increasing by $18 per ounce to reach $4,113 per ounce. Analysts say the rise in gold prices reflects global market trends alongside local demand dynamics.

Silver prices also saw an upward movement. The price of silver increased by Rs57 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs5,124 per tola, highlighting broader gains in precious metals.

The sudden rise in gold prices comes after a drop of Rs2,000 per tola the previous day, when gold was sold at Rs431,862 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold had fallen by Rs1,714 to Rs370,252 from Rs371,966.

Experts note that investor interest in gold and silver continues to rise amid market fluctuations, as precious metals are considered a safe investment during uncertain economic conditions.

The rebound in gold prices is expected to influence both jewelers and traders in Pakistan, with market watchers advising buyers and sellers to stay updated on daily rates.
