Gold Price in Pakistan Bounces Back Following 3-Day Decline

After three consecutive declines, the price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a rise on Friday, settling at Rs. 215,000 per tola.

As per data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) saw an increase of Rs. 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs. 215,000. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams rose by Rs. 1,115, reaching Rs. 184,328.

The week started with a rise of Rs. 450 per tola on Monday, but this was followed by a decline of Rs. 600 per tola on Tuesday. Wednesday saw a further dip of Rs. 2,000 per tola, and Thursday marked a loss of Rs. 1,600 per tola. In total, the price of gold has decreased by Rs. 2,450 per tola over the course of the week.

In the international market, spot gold experienced a 0.3 percent increase to $2,028.97 per ounce by 0956 GMT, while US gold futures also rose by 0.5 percent to $2,031.30.
