Gold Prices in Pakistan Decline After a Sustained Increase

Following a period of steady increases, Gold Prices in Pakistan fell slightly on Saturday due to a drop in the international market.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported a Rs500 decrease in the price of gold per tola, now at Rs256,800, and a Rs429 drop for 10 grams, bringing the price to Rs220,165.

The 22-karat gold price for 10 grams is Rs201,817. Internationally, gold prices fell by $15 to $2,443 per ounce. Meanwhile, local silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,900 per tola.

Earlier this month, gold prices hit a record high in Pakistan at Rs254,000 per tola, highlighting the market’s volatility.
