The DG ISPR has strongly rejected the long-standing Indian narrative against Pakistan. He said the narrative has now been fully exposed and discredited. The statement was made during a press briefing in Islamabad.
According to the DG ISPR, the claim that Pakistan supports terrorism in India has no evidence. He said such accusations were repeated for decades without proof. He added that the international community now sees Pakistan differently.
The DG ISPR stated that Pakistan is not a source of terrorism. Instead, he said Pakistan is a victim of terrorism supported from across the border. He emphasized that facts on the ground have changed global perception.
The briefing was held to mark one year of Marka-e-Haq. Senior officials from the Navy and Air Force also attended the session. They shared details about strategic outcomes and regional security developments.
The DG ISPR highlighted that one major outcome is the failure of India’s narrative. He said the idea of blaming Pakistan for terrorism has been “buried forever.” He stressed that reality has replaced propaganda.
He also said Pakistan has emerged as a responsible regional power. According to the DG ISPR, the country is now seen as a stabilizing force. He said this aligns with the vision of Pakistan’s founding leadership for peace and stability.
During the press conference, the DG ISPR explained how escalation was managed during Marka-e-Haq. He said Pakistan responded in a measured and professional way. He added that the armed forces handled the situation with maturity.
He further stated that India’s approach during the incident was based on a false narrative. The DG ISPR said escalation was driven by misinformation and political pressure.
The DG ISPR also commented on changes within the Indian military structure. He said the Indian army has become increasingly politicized. He added that political leadership in India is also becoming more militarized.
He noted that earlier India had a more professional military structure. However, he said recent developments have changed that character. He warned that this trend could affect regional stability.
