Gold Prices In Pakistan Drop Significantly After Peak

After hitting a historic high, gold prices in Pakistan dropped significantly. On Friday, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association announced a decrease in the price of 24-karat gold by Rs3,000 per tola, bringing it to Rs251,000.

The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also fell by Rs2,572, reaching Rs215,192. Additionally, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs197,259 per 10 grams.

The international gold market showed a downward trend, with the global rate falling by $55 to $2,415 per ounce. Silver prices in the local market also dropped by Rs50, trading at Rs2,850 per tola.

Market analysts cite fluctuations in the international market, currency exchange rates, and economic conditions as factors influencing the rise in gold prices, which may affect investment decisions and consumer behavior in the coming days.
