Gold Prices in Pakistan hit a new historic peak on Saturday, setting yet another record. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,700 to reach Rs263,700.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,457, bringing it to Rs226,080. Internationally, gold prices climbed by $20 to $2,512, while local silver rates remained steady at Rs2,950.

Previously, on Thursday, gold prices had already reached a historic high, with the price per tola rising by Rs800 to Rs261,800.
On August 17, gold prices surged by Rs2,500, hitting Rs260,200 per tola, and Rs2,144 increase for 10 grams, reaching Rs223,080.
The previous record was set on July 18, influenced by factors such as potential US interest rate cuts and the impact of the US elections.
