Gold Prices have risen notably both globally and in local markets. Internationally, the price per ounce has increased by $6, reaching $2410.
Locally, 24-carat gold prices have gone up by Rs. 400 per tola, now at Rs. 249,400, and per 10 grams by Rs. 343, now at Rs. 213,820.

Conversely, silver prices have remained stable, with per tola at Rs. 2900 and per 10 grams at Rs. 2486.28.
Analysts attribute the local gold price hike to increased buying and reduced supply, keeping the cost per tola under Rs. 3000.
