LPG Price Decreased by Rs6.45 per kg

On Monday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, as per an official notification. The notification disclosed a decrease of Rs6.45 per kilogram in the price of LPG, bringing it down to Rs250.33 per kilogram.

For consumers utilizing domestic cylinders, there’s a notable reduction in price as well. The cost of a domestic cylinder has been decreased by Rs76, setting the new price at Rs2,954. In a separate development, the government made a decision on Sunday to increase the price of petrol by Rs9.66 for the upcoming 15 days.

A notification from the finance ministry stated that, in line with the fortnightly revision of petroleum product prices and based on the recommendation of OGRA, the Government of Pakistan has decided to adjust consumer prices effective from April 1, 2024.
