The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new appointment booking system for its service centers nationwide. Citizens can now schedule appointments through the Pak ID mobile application.
According to NADRAβs social media update, the appointment booking system allows users to select available time slots at any NADRA Registration Center (NRC) across Pakistan. Citizens are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time to ensure smooth processing.
The introduction of the appointment booking system aims to reduce long queues, improve crowd management, and streamline operations at NADRA centers. This initiative provides convenience by enabling citizens to book appointments from home using the Pak ID app.
The Pak ID mobile app already supports various services, including applying for new, renewed, or modified CNICs and NICOPs. Users can complete biometric verification, upload documents, and make online payments, making the entire process easier and more efficient.
In addition to the appointment booking system, NADRA has upgraded its online fee payment service. Citizens can now pay fees for identity documents, such as Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC), via Easypaisa, JazzCash, or e-Sahulat.
The modernized online payment process is secure, user-friendly, and ensures timely delivery of documents to the selected address. With the combined convenience of the appointment booking system and online payments, NADRA aims to enhance overall user experience at its centers.
Officials highlighted that the Pak ID app provides a complete digital solution for identity management, reducing the need for in-person visits and helping citizens save time. The new appointment booking system is part of NADRAβs broader efforts to modernize services and make them more accessible to the public.
This development marks a significant step forward in digital governance, ensuring smoother operations and better service delivery at NADRA Registration Centers across Pakistan.
