Oman–Saudi Arabia agree to strengthen their economic cooperation following a high-profile business forum held in Muscat on Wednesday. The event, organized at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, brought together government officials, investors, and private-sector leaders from both countries.
The forum was part of the Omani-Saudi Franchise Exhibition, hosted by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in collaboration with the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The discussions centered on trade, investment, and industrial integration between the two Gulf nations.
Omani delegates presented visual overviews of support services and incentives available for businesses. They highlighted opportunities through the “Invest Oman” platform and showcased projects developed by the Oman Investment Authority. Industrial prospects managed by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) were also outlined.
Saudi representatives shared updates on the Kingdom’s investment climate. They emphasized reforms under Saudi Vision 2030, new regulatory changes, and priority sectors for international investors.
A dedicated dialogue session titled “The Reality and Prospects of Economic Integration and Cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” explored how both nations can further expand bilateral trade and strengthen private-sector partnerships.
The forum included B2B meetings that allowed Omani and Saudi business leaders to establish direct links and discuss potential deals. These interactions are expected to pave the way for long-term collaborations across industries.
In a major step forward, Oman–Saudi Arabia agree on launching a new joint company named “G7,” managed by the Serapis Entertainment Group. The venture will focus on tourism promotion, franchise marketing, and organizing international exhibitions and festivals.
The forum reinforced the growing importance of Oman–Saudi Arabia relations, signaling strong momentum for future cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
