The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has made history by becoming the first South Asian company to export Cooked/Heat Treated Frozen Beef meat products to China. This significant achievement was officially disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday.
China holds a prominent position as the world’s leading meat importer, having imported around 3.10 million metric tonnes of beef and mutton in the year 2022. In light of this, TOMCL’s announcement revealed that it is one of only two companies granted a license to export cooked beef meat products to China from South Asia.
