ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will launch three weekly flights between Islamabad and Birmingham from December 1, 2026. The new service will provide passengers with additional travel options between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
The national airline will operate flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Both departure and return services will follow the same weekly schedule.
PIA will use Boeing 777 aircraft for the new route. The service is expected to improve travel convenience for passengers travelling between the two cities.
The new schedule includes separate flight timings for Islamabad-to-Birmingham and Birmingham-to-Islamabad journeys. Passengers will have more opportunities to plan their trips according to their travel requirements.
PIA Islamabad to Birmingham Flight Schedule
According to the announced schedule, flight PK791 will operate from Islamabad to Birmingham. The aircraft will depart Islamabad at 12:15 PM and arrive in Birmingham at 4:00 PM.
The scheduled journey will take approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes. The service will operate three times each week, beginning December 1.
Passengers travelling to the United Kingdom can use this service for business, family visits, and other travel purposes. The additional flights will provide another option for people travelling between Pakistan and Birmingham.
The airline will operate the outbound service on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Passengers should confirm their travel dates and flight details before making final arrangements.
Birmingham to Islamabad Return Flights
PIA will also operate return flights under flight number PK792. The service will depart Birmingham at 6:30 PM and arrive in Islamabad at 7:15 AM the following day.
The return journey will take approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes. Like the outbound service, the return flight will operate three times weekly.
The overnight schedule will allow passengers to reach Islamabad the following morning. Travellers should consider the arrival date when planning onward journeys or airport transfers.
Both services will use Boeing 777 aircraft. The airline will follow the announced schedule from December 1, subject to any operational changes.
