Caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to take cabinet oath Today

ISLAMABAD – Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar’s cabinet is anticipated to be sworn in today at 5 pm in the President’s House.

Reports indicate that the newly appointed premier has concluded consultations for selecting individuals for key positions.

Notably, the caretaker PM has yet to disclose his cabinet members, though lesser-known politicians and technocrats’ names have surfaced as potential candidates.

PM Kakar personally reviewed the profiles of potential candidates, including Jalil Abbas Jilani, Shoaib Suddle, Ahsan Bhoon, Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, Muhammad Ali Durrani, and Shamshad Akhtar.

Leading IT expert Dr. Umar Saif is a prominent contender for the caretaker IT and Telecom minister position, while Murtaza Solangi is expected to become the information minister.
