ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced 265 Jobs at Daanish Schools in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The vacancies include five principal positions and 260 teaching posts. The Daanish Schools Authority will fill these positions across five schools.
The schools are located in Bagh, Bhimber, Ghanche, Sultanabad, and Astore. Candidates from across Pakistan can apply on open merit.
Applicants from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also eligible. Applications must be submitted online through the HEC Education Testing Council.
Daanish Schools Jobs and Positions
The ministry will appoint one principal at each of the five Daanish Schools. It has also announced multiple teaching positions at each school.
There will be four teachers for each subject at every school. Each subject includes two male and two female positions.
The available teaching posts include Mathematics, English, and Urdu teachers. Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Islamiyat teachers are also required.
Other vacancies include Social Studies, General Science, and Computer Science teachers. Fine Arts, Geography, and Montessori or General Teacher posts are also available.
Each subject carries 20 vacancies across the five schools. This brings the total number of teaching positions to 260.
Salary Packages and Contracts
Selected principals will receive a BS-20 equivalent salary package. They will also receive one additional basic salary each month.
The initial contract for principals will be two years. It may be extended for another two years based on performance.
Teachers will be appointed at DS-16 with one additional basic salary. Their initial contracts will remain valid for three years.
The contracts may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
Eligibility for Principal Jobs
Applicants for principal Jobs must have at least 16 years of education. They should hold a second-division master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
Candidates also need at least 17 years of relevant experience. Experience as a principal or senior faculty member is preferred.
Applicants should have strong leadership and school management skills. Knowledge of curriculum development and teacher recruitment will also be important.
Good English communication skills are required for the positions. The maximum age limit for principal candidates is 63 years.
Eligibility for Teaching Jobs
Teaching applicants must generally hold 16 years of education in the relevant subject. Their qualification must come from an HEC-recognized institution.
Candidates need at least a second division in their academic qualification. CGPA-based applicants require a minimum of 2.50 out of 4.00.
Alternatively, candidates need at least 3.50 out of 5.00. An M.Ed. or B.Ed. qualification will be considered an advantage.
The maximum age limit for teaching positions is 50 years. Montessori applicants with relevant training certificates may receive preference.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must apply through the HEC Education Testing Council portal. Applicants should complete their personal, educational, and contact details carefully.
Candidates must select the relevant position and submit their forms online. Only applications showing a “Submitted” status will be considered.
Incomplete or saved applications will not be accepted. Applications through courier, email, or hand delivery will not be entertained.
Candidates must apply within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication. The application must be submitted before 4:00 PM on the closing date.
Applicants should regularly check official websites for test schedules and roll-number slips. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests or interviews.
Government employees must apply through the proper channel where required. They may also need to provide a no-objection certificate.
