The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony will start collecting the second installment of Hajj dues from October 5.

The payment applies to pilgrims selected under the government Hajj scheme for 2027.

According to a ministry spokesperson, pilgrims can submit the second installment from October 5 to October 20.

The ministry has provided digital channels for completing the payment process. These include the Pak Hajj App and the digital Hajj portal.

Pilgrims have been advised to complete their payments within the announced deadline. Those who fail to pay by October 20 will face cancellation of their Hajj applications.

The ministry said the amount already deposited by such pilgrims will be refunded. This applies to applicants whose Hajj applications are canceled due to non-payment.

In addition to the payment, pilgrims must complete an important medical requirement. They are required to upload a medical fitness certificate before paying the second installment.

The medical certificate can also be submitted through the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims can alternatively use the digital Hajj portal for this purpose.

The ministry has urged all government scheme pilgrims to complete both requirements within the given timeframe.

Officials said timely submission of payments and documents can help pilgrims avoid problems during the Hajj preparation process.

The second installment is part of the financial arrangements for pilgrims traveling under the government scheme. The ministry has provided digital options to make the process easier.

Pilgrims should carefully follow the instructions issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. They should also ensure that their medical fitness certificate is uploaded before making the second payment.

The October 20 deadline is important for all selected government scheme pilgrims. Failure to meet the deadline could result in cancellation of their applications.

The ministry has advised pilgrims to use the designated digital platforms for payment and document submission.
